Beat the Pro had another very successful go this past summer with many of the members partaking in the challenge. Sadley we didn't get to play the final closing tournament due to inclement weather. However we look to hold an event in early May for all those who participated this past season. All the money collected for this event will go to prizes for this event. All of you who challenged one of us in the shop should keep an eye on the upcoming events for this Tournament. Look forward to seeing all of you soon in the spring. Have a great winter.

Equipment Tune-up
Now's the perfect time of year to get minor adjustments made to your equipment. One of the most overlooked is our grips. At our Golf School, many of the participants that we've observed to date have grips on thier clubs that are very worn out. Many have been on since the clubs were purchasesd. Grips should be changed about every 50 -60 rounds.....for the average member that would mean once a year. Oils and dirt from our hands build up on the grip and make the grip shiney and hard. Most of the time I can spot it without even touching the grips. New grips will make your clubs feel like new and also let you grip the club more easlily. Sizing is important as well. If you have artrythic hands, a somewhat larger grip can really be helpful. Your golf professional will know what size is best for you.
So why not drop by the Indoor Golf School to check out what we can do to make YOUR clubs feel like new. Check out what hours we are open from the golf school article in the Pro Shop section.
